Murray has worked in the investment industry for over 25 years, serving as a portfolio manager and working with high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to Eclectic, Murray worked as a managing director at Fifth Third Wealth Advisors. He was a senior portfolio manager at TIAA Trust Co. for 18 of those years. Prior to that, he was a senior portfolio manager at First Union and Wachovia.
Murray has a BSBA from the College of Charleston. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and passed the Series 65 Exam.
Murray lives in Charlotte, NC, with his wife Shannon and their two rescue cats, Jade and Ace, who keep them busy. Their twins, Jewel and Carlyle, are in college. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and looking for shark teeth at the beach with Shannon.
